Well, once again my hair is at a level where I can get away with not wearing wigs, I even went to the hairdresser in the past weekend!

I notice my lifestyle and choices really do make a difference with the amount of hairloss I experience...caffeine, refined sugars,,,smoking..alcohol and a few others definitely make a difference.

Im writing a lot this weekend because I went to the dentist and had two teeth removed and typical, end up with a dry socket. The pain is something else. So im trying to distract myself.

This is a human hair wig with human hair clip in extensions attached. Ive had this wig about 4-5 years now, starting to look a bit worn, but at nerly $3000 a pop, I cannot afford to be replacing it..even more motivation to keep eating well and living well so I can have my own…

There was a point last year where I was able to, for the first time in about five years, go wigless due to new hair growth.

Its hard to think back to what I done that may have enabled my hair to grow back so well, but I believe I was mentally in a better place with a lot less stress in my life.

Ahhh its been a while since i posted here..lazy lazy LAZY!!! i like this community, i should be more active. Hmm i think i am getting a bit of hair growth, im not too worried, ive accepted my alopecia now and sometimes dont really care if it never grows back! Life seems to be moving in a good direction right now. Its weird i must admit, i am happy. I havent been truly happy in a looong time, and im scared. Scared that it will all just leave me, leave me empty like it has always done in the past.

Ive been a member of this site for a few months probably but this is my first time on the site. I am 22 years old and starting developing alopecia about a year ago now, it started with a small spot . It progressed and got to the poinjt i shaved my head and purchased a wig. I am a recovering Anorexic, and have suffered for 6 years, doctors think this may play a part in my hairloss.
