Okay, so every once in a while I end up with too many thoughts to keep to myself, so I have to put them all down in my online journal and let you guys get a glimpse into the inner workings of my mind. So as my mind wanders, please feel free to let yours wander as well:
My head is so tender when my hair is growing back in (like it is right now) that I can barely stand it. Does anyone have any suggestions for what to do to relieve it?
I have noticed that scalp massages do a lot of good in promoting new growth (especially when Todd is doing the massaging.) I don't recall that ever happening in the past though, but maybe it's because I don't normally let anyone touch my head. Maybe there's something to that?
One other thing I've noticed when my hair is growing in is that I have a significant increase in the frequency and severity of my migraines. In the last two weeks, I've had 3 of them -- and I MIGHT have had 3 migraines total in the 18 months I lived in Memphis! I wish we had a dermatologist or some other kind of doctor on this site that could offer any reasonable explanations for this, becuase I am sick and tired of my head hurting all the time!
I think it's time for Todd to actually shape a hairline for me, but I'm not quite sure on how to approach it with him. He agreed to cut my hair and keep it nice for me while it is growing in, but I think that I may need to let it grow out for another couple of weeks. I also noticed that even though the hair on the top of my head is growing, the spots in the back aren't doing anything at all still. Historically, the back has always been the last to grow in, but the top and front tends to stay gone the longest. I try not to worry myself too much over it, but at the same time I can't help but be concerned because as long as I'm letting it grow I want it ALL to grow in. I'm sure some of you can relate to this one too -- what do you think about it?
I need to upgrade my iPod -- WalMart is selling the 120GB Classic for $250 dollars! I want to know if they are going to do any kind of sale on it for Black Friday, because if they are then I'm going to work some OT and get me one! Then I can put even more music on there and a couple of movies too!
I can't decide whether I want to be a fall or winter bride -- spring is okay, but summer is definitely out! Besides, being a spring/summer bride is so common that I don't want to be like anyone else!!! Suggestions would be welcome here too!!!
Anyway, my Benadryl is kicking in (damn that Indian summer and high pollen counts!!!) Feel free to leave a comment; until then I will talk to everyone soon!
P.S. Might not be around much this weekend; Tennessee State Univeristy is having their Homecoming festivities and I will be fully participating in the parade and the parties and the game! Happy Halloween, Dia de los Muertos and All Saints' Day to all of you!
