The first time I shaved my head
I will never forget it...I went into the salon to see how much it would cost, the lady told me $12.00. I said you have got to be kidding I have only half a head of hair. The lady looked at me like I had ten heads. I lifted up my hair and she then saw that underneath was all gone. The lady at the salon charged me $6.00 that day to have my head shaved. I have been bald ever since.

That's so funny Crystal. I love that you bartered to get a 50% discount for 50% of a head of hair. The way your hair was then sounds like mine. If I lift up my hair it's all gone underneath, except for a couple of odd spots. But I won't need to get it shaved at the hairdressers - my Dad has already offered to get the clippers out. I'll end up with a head of plasters/band-aids instead of hair!

Hi Crystal, Did you have the ophiasis pattern? Thats what my doc said that I have.I still havent shaved my head yet.A little is growing back and I have some grey hair too. I guess Ill know when the right time to shave is. Did you just Know?

Since I shaved my head in 1996 I have been bald except when I got Pregnant with my two kids. Each time my hair grew. It did not get long it just looked like a brush cut. But when the kids arrived my hair fell out

I just happened to see this, and thought so funny. That would be me also. I often think of getting the 40% hair that I have left trimmed, and wonder what the price would be. LOL I cut it myself. Nothing underneath as well.
