hi

hi all , i am new to alopecia world ,and to alopecia .... i m finding it quite hard getting used to my hair coming out in patches , and im not sure weather or not to get a wig or just to go bare can any one give me any advice ....thnx kyrie x

Only you can know what's the best option for you. Some people just aren't ready to "go bare" right away. I choose to wear scarves and bandannas b/c that's what I'm comfortable with that. I have no hair, so I get a lot of cancer comments, questions, and concerns. Since you still have hair, you may be perceived as fashionable and cool instead. I've been dealing with this for years and haven't been able to go out bald...but so many people here do it and they look great. Some things to think about: do you want it to look natural and real, are you comfortable with questions about it, are you trying to hide it...I'm sure there are more. How you answer those questions could help you make this choice. Good luck!
