This morning I went to the hairspecialist, because he had wig I ordered.
Me and my dad got in the car and drove up to Utrecht which is 50 km away from here.
The roads here in this small country are a disaster.. 2 lanes that become 3 lanes and then go back to 2 lanes again 3km further ahead. That causes a lot of accidents and causes a sort of queue on the road..(dont really know the english term, file maybe?) So we drove up there, the one file after the other.
I was pretty excited to get a wig, I really had it with the last bit of my hair.
So when we got there the guy who helped me earlier too got my wig. When I first put it on it looked pretty funny as it wasn't cut in shape. I looked really feminine, hehe.
Then the hairdresser came and cut it the way my real hair was before. After a while she was done and started cutting my own hair a bit too.
Then I put it on again. I suddenly had só much hair! It still is not really the way I want it to be, but that's because it's new and still has to be worn more to let it settle a bit. When that's done it will be the way I want to.
I was at the hairspecialist for an hour or two. When we left there I still had to go to school, I was excited to show my friends my new hair! Even though I had to wear my beanie another couple of days because I wore it all week, and it would be a little strange if people suddenly saw me with a big bush on my head. I was (and still am) so happy !
I do have to get used to it, but that will be allright.
The colour is good, a little lighter than my real hair used to be, but that mostly was because of the gel I wore, that made my hair darker.
If one of you hesitates to get a wig or not, I have advice for you: If you've had it with your bald spots or bald head and don't really care what people think of you, get a wig! It does make you happier and more confident. To me at least.
I'm so happy ;D haha.
