Aerialist with alopecia to appear on America's Got Talent Tues. June 17

Hey Folks,

I auditioned for America's Got Talent this season with my aerial silks act. My audition was filmed and will air on NBC at 8pm on Tues. June 17. During my backstage interview I discuss my experience with Alopecia and the challenges I had to overcome in continuing my career as a performing artist. I even took my wig off while I was on camera!! I hope to be an inspiration to others in helping them overcome their fears, to look beyond their physical appearance and to live bravely while pursuing their passions in this life. I would love the support of as many viewers as possible. Please tell your friends and family to watch America's Got Talent on NBC at 8pm to cheer me on!

You were amazing on Americans Got Talent. We look forward to seeing you perform again. My 8 yr old with Alopecia said to tell you that you were amazing and beautiful with and without your wig. She also said to tell you thank you for taking your wig off. Thank you for sharing your talent with America.

Thank you Renee! We Alopecians are making ourselves seen and heard. I'm so happy to help bring awareness to a condition I knew nothing about until it happened to me, and to encourage others to let nothing stand in their way of doing what they love.
