I understand how you feel about wigs. The idea of wearing one has always been uncomfortable for me, especially since I have bad memories of wearing wigs as a child. But wigs have come along way! Right now I am wearing a nice lace wig. I just got it so I am still adjusting, but its really nice. For awhile I wore partial wigs, b/c I still had front hair. But my hair began to thin and wearing the partials got more and more difficult so I new I had to go to a full wig. After some research I opted for a lace wig b/c of its natural appearance. There are also really beautiful scarves out there so you can definitely create a look uniquely your own. Only you can decide whats right for you. Stay strong.

Don't be dissapointed Tamara! With or without hair you can still do everything you want. Scarves are great too and come in so many different styles and colours plus you can wear one scarf several ways if it is big enough! If you're worried about swimming, just wear a swim cap. Never let alopecia hold you back from doing what you love. We only get one life to live, so live it!!!

You should try the lace front because once it is bonded even a truck can't move that thing. I too dont like the wig and opt to custom make the hair myself but it is mostly a lace front that is bonded.
