I get tingling on spots on my head and the next day that spot is bald. I have older bald spots that have regrown and some have regrown only white hair. I see there is no actual cure... the more I research. I'm dissappointed and unwilling to try the gimmick crap. Today I read a womans comments she put on her fb and it brought me to tears... because today is my first wig day.... my goodness.... I love myself... struggle too much... too soft hearted... I was so nervous I was sweating and shaking this morning... not sure if I would be laughed at... I'm sure behind my back. I live in a small town and I'm tired of hiding... thanks for reading.. I believe I will get used to this and I'm excited for wig shopping... it will all have to be done online... and I'm going through my emotions of this... and I will be ok. I have good role models on this site. Thanks <3

Hi, I'm Diane. I wear an intragrated topper wig. I felt the same way my first day at work with my new wig. I almost turned around and went home to call in sick. I finally sucked it up and went in. I'm glad I did. I found that most people didn't pay attention to my hair. My coworkers (the women) loved it and gave me so many compliments on how good it looked. One male coworker asked I was trying a new hair style and raved about how good it looked. I feel so much better about myself when i'm wearing it. Also, I've been to a couple of hair salons where they sell wigs. They were very discrete and I felt very comfortable getting my wig in their shops without being embarrassed. I hope this gives you a little comfort. If you want to talk, pls contact me. Hugs Di

I hope that in your small town, or a neighboring town you can find a beautician that can cut and style your wigs to suit your facial features. That will go a long way in helping you feel better about yourself.

My beautician trimmed my wig and it looks so much more realistic. Very worth it! I am new to this. I dared to wear it on my errands with my daughter- and I had several men stop to watch me walk past. (It's just a midlength brown bob cut and I was wearing sweats). A few even tried to talk to me. I am forty and used to being ignored by men. My hair has never been good enough to be called an asset. Apparently all these years, my hair has been holding me back :-).Give it a shot-it might even be fun :-).
