I am very new to your site. My son is 10 years old and he has alopecia only on his body/ not head, eyebrows and eyelashes. I was wondering if there is anyone else out there with the same issue as I am really worry how it's going to develop.
He was born like this. He never has any hair all-over his body. When he was 4year old, his eyebrows started to fall off, took him to the doctor as I didn't had any idea of alopecia. Doctor informed me and gave us a liquot medicine. Two weeks later his eyebrows came back.
Just last year, alopecia striked again and half of his eyelid fall off. Same treatment and his eyelid came back.
In my country there aren't any doctors specialized in alopecia and I was recommended to take him abroad if happens again.
From my research in the internet I never read of a person having alopecia only on body and I really want to find out if there is anyone else with the same form of alopecia. I don't know what i should do, where to take my child, and If there is a treatment we should follow. Now he has all of his hair on head and his eyebrows and eyelids, but I'm afraid that it will happen one day.

Please advise....
