I have had AU for many years and have worn scarves and also synthetic wigs. The Revlon wigs that I have loved and bought for a while, now seems to be less good quality - and reading this site I have got to think I would like to try a Freedom wig. I a sure there are many of you who can advise me. Does anyone not like them? Could they feel too tight or too hot ? What kind of weight do you suggest getting?
Would be glad to hear your thoughts and experiences
Hi Jane,
The Freedom wig is both comfortable, secure and extremely natural looking. It is completely customized for you the wearer from the fit to the hair selection to where you part the hairpiece. I bought my first Freedom Wig 5 years ago and it was life changing. I do everything in my Freedom Wig like running, swimming even waterskiing! I loved the hairpiece so much that I asked to be a rep. for the company in Canada. There is a group on the site for "people who have a Freedom Wig or are getting one" where you may be able to get more opinions on your questions.
I have never felt the hairpiece has been too tight, in fact, I had to get used to the fact that there were no pressure points on the wig and it was still on securely. The current Freedom II cap allows for natural heat and perspiration to dissipate through the cap and having the ability to wear your hair up in a high ponytail is fantastic for cooling down on hot days. Of course on the high heat and humidity days you are going to sweat, but the sweat gathers and then trickles down the temple and neck area. If it becomes overly sweaty, you can wipe out the cap and your head and start fresh (the cap doesn't stay damp like my first hairpiece did…it felt like damp underwear on my head) I think they are fab. Check out the group for more insight.
