They r beautiful yes. But what good does the beauty of any woman do me when I have never in my whole life had a girlfriend or a relationship (Im over 50) and at least part of the reason is that I have had alopecia universalis for 45 yrs. So no one has ever admired me. Mark in MIlw.

Mark! I believe it all comes around as to how you carry yourself.  I've had AU for about 6 years now and it took about 2 years for me to regain my self confidence.   True, I do wear a wig but this condition has made me realize that beauty does come from within - hair or no hair....and I just turned 40 and still get hit on :) (PS I am a happily married but it's always nice to get compliments!) .  It's never too late for relationships!
