BUYER BEWARE!! WIG OPERATION IN CHINA IS USING A LEGIT U.S. COMPANY TO SCAM CONSUMERS

I just want to warn people to be very careful when buying a wig online.  A month ago I entered a search online for petite wigs.  A lot of wig sites popped up but I chose a site that had a great return policy.  I placed my order, paid using American Express via paypal and received an order confimation.  When the wig arrived I did not know it was coming  China.  The packaging had no return address.  I went to the site and emailed customer service to let them know I wanted to return the wig because it was not very flattering on me.  Now mind you I had read their return policy and it said the wig could be returned for a refund.  "Customer service" gave me the run around in getting a refund so I went to American Express.  I was asked to send American Express a copy of the return and exchange policy and in getting this info ready for faxing I decided to try to resolve it one last time myself.  I called the number on the website page and spoke with a very nice person who tried to look up my order number and told me they had no record of my transaction.  He informed me that there is an operation in China that has, for lack of a better term, hijacked their website.  The legit company E-Wigs has been working with the authorities to go after this company but since they are in China it has been a battle.  In the meantime American Express is still trying to dispute the transaction with the company in China.

The person I spoke with at E-Wigs (the legit company) said in the future always make sure the company has a physical address based in the U.S and stay away from any company or companys' customer service using a gmail or yahoo email.  I was not the first person scammed by Ewigs (the company in China).  The legitimate company has received many returns and has had to return them to the unsuspecting customers like myself.

Please note:

     E-Wigs.com is the reputable site.

Ewigsna.com is in China posing as the legit site.

I sincerely hope this warning will help others from being taken advantage of and losing their hard earned money.
