Karina, My changes occurred a long time ago. I was a teenager and just either avoided the ??? or lied. Neither of these options were right. I always felt out of place, but I had not accepted myself yet. People will accept what you accept about yourself (this is hard to do I understand, but necessary) today I am 37, have been diagnosed with ALopecia for 25 yrs and still would like to have hair growing from my scalp, but I am thankful "my hair" no matter how I come by it. I have worn real hair and synthetic wigs and I prefer the synthetic, for ease of wear. In the Summer they can be a little uncomfortable, my head will get sweaty and sometimes itch. What to do? Everyone has to find "the way" to handle hairloss for themselves, we all see it differently even though feeling it the same. Please be encouraged by the friends yo make here, we really do understand and hope to help any way possible. You are BEAUTIFUL!! Outside appearance doesn't matter!! I realize that is not what the world will tell you, but it is true!! Thank you for being my friend!! Comntact me anytime!! Blessings to you!! Lori

Thanks Lori!! Thank YOU for allowing me to be your friend! You really are a person with a lot of wisdom and rich inner life. That photo was taken last year during my bierthday..today I have little hair..My derm said to me that is telogen effluvium.. I don´t want to be depressed...so I bought a natural hair machine-made wig but I don´t feel comfortable...sometimes I wonder how a person can live a life wig a wig..probably we get used to..
