Can you ADD extra hair to a Freedom Wig?

Hello Everyone,

I recently purchased a Freedom Wig, and although the ordering process was very positive, I am not happy with the density of the wig. I ordered light density, and I regret that I did not order light/medium density, as I personally feel that the wig does not have enough hair. Freedom has informed me that if I wanted extra hair added, I would have to pay for it, but I have not heard back as to how much they would charge me. My Rep and Freedom have also encouraged me to work with what I have, change the part, try a different hair cut etc...but the more time I spend with it, the more I am unhappy with it. I am also wondering whether it is even possible to change a Freedom Wig from light to light/medium density after it has been made?

For those of you who have a Freedom Wig, has anyone had issues with the density and has anyone ever added more hair? Is this even possible?

Thanks so much.

I'm sorry to hear you're not happy with your freedom wig. Its an expensive purchase. I hope it gets sorted out for you. I have had more hair added when I sent my wig in for repairs...but I'm not sure about having hair added to a new wig as they may need to replace the silicone base. I got medium density but thought it was too much hair for me and would have prefered light density. I think it depends on how thick your own hair was. My own hair was very fine hair and lay kind of flat whereas the freedom wig has a lot of bounce at the site of injection. It took me a while to get used to that. I sure hope they can do something for you.
