Hi there: We have a question about the best way to care for a natural (non-synthetic wig).  My sister has conflicting opinions from the two different places where she has purchased wigs and has them cared for.  One place says the wig should not be blown dry, but should dry naturally - the other place says they have a special wig dryer which they use and does not damage the wig.  THe problem is that the wig must also have alopecia because the hair is beginning to fall out. . . The place where she bought the wig says its from the blow drying done by the place caring for it, and the place caring for it says it just happens. . ..

Any comments??

Thank you - I will get those details.  For the moment and to clarify regarding the prior answers - the wig is non-synthetic - I think it is European Natural Hair, but as I said, I will let you know!!  THANKS..

We are told that it is "the finest European hair."

I do not know if handtied, or even what that means.  We are told that the place where she bought the wig, allows it to air dry and after that do style it with a dryer.  The other place, which has been handling it mostly, said they actually dry it using a special wig thing that uses "the right temperature" air to actually dry the wig and then they style it.

Any thoughts?  The wig was expensive and with the hair falling out of it we are concerned about how to handle any new wigs, or this wig once it is replenished.

Thanks.
