Hello my fellow Alopecians!

I want to share a story with you.  I ordered a hair piece with a grant I rcvd.  The vendor is located in North Texas and I am in Ga.  Took 5 weeks, no big deal it was custom.  I was so excited but when it came I was so dissapointed, wrong length, not quite the right color, wrong size (too big) and definetly the wrong texture!  I sent emails and phone calls with my complaints.  When I finally rcvd a reply they told me essentially the order was correct and due to it was custom was not returnable but the kicker was, they offered me a 20.00 store credit and said it wasn't my money and didn't come out of my pocket any way!!  Really!!  Wow there is so much rip off, disrespect and lack of compassion in the hair business. Why would I want a store credit from a place I feel took advantage of me !! A grant I can only get every 2 years if I'm blessed enough and it turns out like that.  Make sure you know who you're doing business with, know their business, their work and their true mission.  This means too much to us to not do the research on who you do business with and not just the hair business, all business.  Be blessed and aware my alopecia family!!

I am so sorry to hear about this. It makes me not only sad and angry because this type of thing goes on way to often.Give a call to a women Chris for Hair, she is out of Northern California and has a great reputation for helping those with medical hair loss. She designs custom hair pieces and this is her primary business. She has a great website and her phone number is 925 245-0194. She is as honest as they come and will tell you how she can help you. There are good people out there and Chris is one of them.

I got taken for $2K by a lying shop owner.  She took a sample of my hair, promised me the hair she ordered would match my hair, color, texture, etc.  I waited weeks and weeks.  Finally it arrives.  This horrid monstrosity wasn't even the same color, let alone same texture, etc.  She would not give me money back, said I had to keep ordering and ordering until they got it right.  I was ready to take her to court.  She said I wouldn't win.  She then offered me two wigs of my choice from her store....big deal.  I think so many of us have been taken by wig shop owners.
