do i have alopecia

my hair is thick and long in the back and half top. i dont have hair around the temple. its to where i mostly wear wigs. so do i have alopecia?

Margaret - I would advise that you see a dermatologist. They'll help you figure out what's going on for sure. I think that it is most common with alopecia for the hairloss to start with small, circle-shaped patches of loss. It is different for everyone though. I was just letting you know this though, because if yours started this way then it would be a pretty safe bet that's what it is.
