i just moved to boston and i'm loving it so far but the air here is very dry. i just saw a picture someone tagged me in and my hair looks so dried out! i know this can be a problem with wigs because our scalp oil doesn't really get on the hair. does anyone have tips for how to deal with this? also, i have bangs and sometimes they get oily and I need to wash my hair but washing it too much dries out the rest of it. any advice is welcome!

Hi Rosie. Do u put in any kind of serum or product after u wash and condition? When I occasionally wash my daughters fw I will comb in a smoothing (pureology brand "shinemax")serum along with some "Moroccan hydrating styling cream" mainly on bottom 1/2hair and whats left on my hands on top. A new product by KMS called "hair play makeover spray" is a dry cleansing/refreshing product to absorb oil and extend time between washings. It might help with ur oily bangs. All pricey probably but i dont use a small amount. U should probably at least hydrate the ends especially if u r blow drying. Glad Boston is treating u well!
