Hi

I have dyed alot of my human hair wigs.

If you are going darker that is a lot better cause it will be way easier.

Ive used lots of different kind of dyes.

The ones with ammonia may dry your hair out more in the end but the colour will last longer.

I usually take it off and apply it over a bunch of newspaper or an old towel or something.

Make sure to condition it really well after you rinse out the dye.

L'oreal paris and clairol are some of the brands I've used.

Thank you so much, I'll try and do that.

one thing also to consider is the type of fabric that the skin is made of, for me one time, i was dying my wig a dark ash brown, and it sort of tinted the fabric underneath a pale blue. (from the ash tones) But it did come out after a few washes so it wasn't terrible! But just something to consider.
