Can't believe it's been exactly three years now since I discovered the first bald patch on my head after a haircut.

It's been a roller coaster ride.. I was in Bangalore that time, and the patches quickly grew into 6-7 places on my scalp.. I had a 3 month regimen of painful injections, and steroid tablets which led to almost 90% regrowth but patches just kept coming up here and there..

Never have I been totally alopecia free these 3 years.. although there  were times when it was almost gone..

Now, over last 2-3 months, it's coming back with a vengeance. Much of my mustache and beard is patchy, my eyebrows are almost 25% gone.. and there is a major patch on my scalp and a big one on my arm too!

I'm scared, worried and simply too frustrated.. I feel I shouldn't have taken the steroids for almost 2 years..

I have a wonderful job and a great boyfriend who's supported and loved me throughout.. but this hairloss just doesn't let me enjoy this wonderful life and everything else I have.. I'm constantly aware of it and sick of answering questions of ignorant colleagues and friends..

Anyone in India/Mumbai with similar experiences?
