As most of you know, I have alopecia universalis an autoimmune skin condition which causes the loss of hair on the scalp and in my case my entire body. Although not life-threatening, alopecia is most certainly life-altering and its sudden onset, recurrent episodes, and unpredictable course have a profound psychological impact on the lives of those disrupted by this disease.
The National Alopecia Areata Foundation (NAAF) is the largest, most influential foundation associated with alopecia. NAAF supports research to find a cure or acceptable treatment for alopecia, supports those with the disease, and educates the public about alopecia.
I am committed to helping find better treatments, increasing research, raising awareness and supporting other affected individuals, so this year once again I am participating in the HAVE-A-BALL AND BOWL FUNDRAISER on Sunday, May 6th, 2012. The information page link is at:

If you cannot join me in a great day of bowling, cake, pizza, and prizes, please consider sponsoring me for this important event. You can make a donation at www.naaf.org/ball-bowl-donate. Please make your donation in honor of Marisa DiGiallonardo so my team members know who you are supporting.
Thank you for your love and support. I know that with friends and relatives like you, a cure is in sight!!
Mahalo.
If you have friends or family that would like to help me by supporting this cause please feel free to forward this to them. THANKS AGAIN FOR ALL YOUR SUPPORT!!!
