I just ordered some pills (Chinese herbal ones) from fusion health( I'm sorry but I'm just not into this whole 'bald and proud thing, I'm bald and I'm definately not proud of the fact that I am and I refuse to believe doctors or websites telling me that theres no chance of hair growth since I have AU). A little 10 year old girl from New Zealand who had AU began taking them and her hair, eyelashes and eyebrows grew back( and lots of people seem to credit her regrowth to her being young ) I'm sure some of you have read or heard about the the story, someone on here posted it. I texted my friend about it and she told me : "God wants you to buy ordinary olive oil and apply it on ur hair three times a day. Just say thank you Lord for my hair. Just obey this and you will see the handiwork of God. If you like start doing if from now onwards and if by the time you get your drug u haven't seen any improvement then know that God didn't say this. I believe without a doubt the oil will work. Try God and see. God wants to do something new in your life; he wants to give you ur own testimony...." What she told me really spoke to me, but at the same time made me feel guilty; was I not trusting God to bring back my hair?Christians on AW: whats ur view on trusting God vs putting your trust in pills/medicine??

Exactly what Alice said. Would you expect someone with cancer to not receive treatment if it was available to them? No, they receive treatment and then after that it's in God's hands. Alice put it really nicely.

Never heard of any cure for AA it goes into remission as did with my wife but is never cured as far as medical science is at, have seen a lot of scam artists taking advantage of vulnerable people selling all sorts of lotions and potions for obscene amounts of money but never as I said seen one that cures. My wife relies on her own self worth to deal with and looks to no outside scource other than other who share what they are feeling. She has a saying "nothing fails like prayer" and she sticks to it and really does cope really well with her hair loss. She is very inspirational to me and I wish I had her courage. John

Thank you for that tip with the almond oil. I will go out and buy some. Does it have to be almond oil or sweet almond oil?
