As the Tears Run Down My Face
I say!
Who do I see looking back at me
I don't know who that girl is
I don't know if it is me
The Girl in the Mirror
Looking Back At Me!
Does she smile
Or does she cry
Does she wish
Does she wonder why
Or does she tell the Girl in the Mirror ... it is only I!
I have no face
I can't see me
I have not changed
I just want to be free
I want to be me
I am the Girl in the Mirror .... it is only I!
It's so simple can't you see, that the girl in the Mirror is Me.......

Terri thanks for your compliments ...I just so bad want others to know they are not alone, we are all in this boat together and share the exact same emotions. Able to understand the change, the loss, the sadness and the need to be acknowledged and seen as we are. I have come to a full circle in my transition through Alopecia, and remember this "ALOPECIA IS ONLY A WORD" Not a sentence! However, it is going to take time for those just starting out, and what I mean by starting out ... could mean 1 month, 1 year, 10 or 20 years, for each of us this adversity and adjustment takes different challenges throughout one journey unto acceptance of self!
