Another turn around the sun... Last night was pretty awesoime. I was asked to put in some extra hours of work at a charity fundraiser hockey tournament featuring old Hockey Legends playing a fun game against the Montreal Police Hockey League.
I still have no idea about hockey and all the big players, but names like Igo Kravchick and Lemiuex were all there... and at one point they even invited a Tiny Tykes team of 6 year olds to play against them for about ten minutes.
The show was pretty cool - there were 3 20 minute game periods, as well as a clown act and a make syncro skater, with a lazer light show near the end.
I was the dude handling the main spotlight so it was cool to pan the audience and follow the hockey players when they are introduced and first come out onto the rink... then throughout the games, when someone scored, I`d pan the crowd fast and `make it energetic`. There were two of us panning the lights, so that was cool.
Then after jumping back on the underground metro train, I made my way back to my apartment where a friend was waiting parked outside, to drive me an hour out to cottage country so I could do my laundry today and be back at work tomorrow in a call center selling tickets to the Shrine Circus this coming summer...
