Does anyone else go to Hair club? I've been going for 2 years and it's so expensive? Any other good alternatives?

It's a very expensive "solution" for people with hair loss. Essentially they glue an expensive wig on your head and based on how much your paying per month judges how often you go in to get reapplied and a new wig. Its just too expensive for the lack of effort it takes on their part and they don't even give you quality wigs.

On Long Island I got fitted for a hair integration system, they also do full bonding. Try to look around at some different hair system service centers in your area. Do a websearch.

What has your experience with the system been like? How much have you been paying?

Hi Asyley, you are a beautiful girl and young there are other options. Hair Club where do I begin.....I was with Hair Club for 4-5yrs and expensive is not the word - there has to be a better word to discribe how much $$$ I spent. It started reasonable cause I was desperate and didn't do my homework. Then, it got more expensive every year at the end I was paying 349/mo. for 8 systems plus 10 services. I actually got so good I was doing everything myself. Finally I decided to end my contract just this February (last month). I was tired of the glue, tape, smell, shedding, etc. So I decided to go with a vaccum wig. I take it off when ever I want and sleep with just a sleeping cap. So much better. Listen if you want to talk email me at: prlatina711@yahoo and we can exchange #s. I say all this to say, if you can research an alternative. I hope you reach out to me. I have stories.

i have worn clip in toppers, two integrated systems and because the company made a mistake on one topper i had credit so i ordered a bonded system. i got it yesterday to look at and it runs about $425 a month. the hair quality isnt great either....i know how it would look after solvents and washing and drying it so often...i went through it with the integrated...it looked good for a month and then i had to wait til i could get the new one. i have chosen to not use the bonded system.. im with Pat...the freedom wig would be so much easier and inexpensive..not to mention the hair stays beautiful because you dont wash it as often. actually i had a vacuum wig here and the quality was great compared to the bonded hair they use for systems. i am im the process of getting a Follea wig to wear while i decide about the vacuum piece. ive been around the block too with different things. great hair replacement isnt easy but not impossible and i wish you well!

Yeah, I pay $349 a month at Hair Club. The quality is so poor and I do not like spending so much money on something I really do not even want anymore. I'm only 19 and a full time college student. The process of putting the hair on is so simple. ANYONE could do it. Thats why I don't understand why it's so expensive. I'll look into the vacuum wig, but it might be out of my price range for now...

I'm only going to have to pay $100 every 4 to 6 weeks for my hair system and the ones I saw there look really good. I think I'm lucky they seem like real artisans there who take pride in their work.
