Hair tattooing
has anyone had the hair tattoo where they tattoo the head to just make it look like your head has had a close shave? my main concern would be long term regarding discolouration etc but would appreciate and advice or information.
i started losing my hair 5 months ago, and iv now lost 40 % of my beard and i have maybe 6 patches on my head of various sizes.
i just got the steroid injections a couple of days ago to all my patches so fingers crossed it works.
its the first time iv had alopechia and I'm starting to feel really pessimistic that i lose everything. my eyebrows are the thing i worry about most but touch wood they are still ok ;-)
im glad i found this webpage because its hard to talk to people face to face. i usually put a brave face on things but I'm secretly scared to death haha... good luck everyone

I've seen this procedure online but dont know of of anyone having it done.
This is something I wouldnt jump into. Especially since your alopecia is so recent.
Give your hair a chance to regrow. Hopefully the steroid injections will work for you.

I've also seen this online and for males it does look like the real thing...but I wonder about it discolouring over time too. If you know a place that does this it might be worth checking out. The after pics look amazing. You may regrow your hair though don't give up hope just yet. AA is really unpredictable so I guess it's always a case of hoping for the best but preparing for the worst..
