whatsup julian, i would have to say i wouldnt get a tranplant just bacause ive been without hair for so long (15 + years) that i am just used to being bald. everyone has their own opinion and doings. so good for you if hair transplants make u feel better.mike

Mike, I understand where you are coming from. Guess I haven't gotten used to my baldness.

Cat, Why wont they give you a hair transplant? Is it because they say you are not a good candidate for one? I know with my transplant they took my hair follicles from the back of my head to transplant in my crown area.

Hair transplantation is a surgical technique that moves individual hair follicles from a part of the body called the donor site to bald or balding part of the body known as the recipient site. It is primarily used to treat male pattern baldness. In this condition, grafts containing hair follicles that are genetically resistant to balding are transplanted to bald scalp. It is also used to restore , eyelashes, eyelashes, beard hair, chest hair, and pubic hair and to fill in scars caused by accidents or surgery such as face-lifts and previous hair transplants.
