Hello Family!
In the spirit of TallGirl’s excellent blog on the power of the internet in the creation of our home here at Alopecia World; I would like to launch a blog for creative expression. For those of you who are not familiar with haiku, there are many forms, but the basic format is a small poem that comprises of three lines with a specific structure. The first line of a haiku has 5 syllables. The second line has 7 syllables. And the last line has 5 syllables. As you compose your haiku poem, it’s helpful to count out the syl-la-bles (3). There are no haiku snobs here, all poetic expressions are encouraged and welcomed.

I’ll start off with my tribute to the strength I’ve received at AW to live a “Bald Life”.

I move through the day
Unaware of the staring
I’m glad to be free.

Have fun everyone! Peace and Love to you all.

I am Dominique.
They all say I'm quite unique.
Eccentric, or freak.
