Welcome Kathryn. I'm new here myself and like you I had no idea that alopecia was so common, or that this site even existed. After having AU for all of these years it sure is nice to have a place to talk to others about it. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving.

Welcome, Kathryn! I'm really happy you found Alopecia World.
I'd wish you a Happy Thanksgiving, but I know it isn't celebrated in the UK. When I lived in Norwich for a year, we made a traditional Thanksgiving meal for our English friends - it was pretty funny trying to get them to try pumpkin pie. The idea of a "sweet" squash dish just didn't appeal to most of them! All the best, Mary
