I'm free!

I went out today since 630 am and wore my half wig all day long even slept in it for a few hrs ..The whole time I kept thinking is it moving? Can you tell? Why is she looking at my hair???? I hope no one see the big spot I have above my ear thats creeping up towards my face..It was sooooo uncomfortable!.When I finally got home at 1 am I took it off and said Uhhhhh Im free!!! This is the first time I ever said this to myself!!! It felt sooooo good to not have that thing pulling at my hair and sticking in my head!! ...I still have some hair but Im so tired of trying to hide it!! Not sure If I want to shave it just yet..But little by little This site is helping me to see I can be free!!! Here I dont have to hide ..Here I dont have to be embaressed.. Here Im just as beautiful as everyone else ..Here everyone understands what Im going thru..and here I can be free Thanks AW

SonnysWuv, Hello. I have around 60-70% of my hair I have learned different ways to wear to cover up my bald spots. I am so glad to know I am not alone with what I am going through. Not a day goes by that I do not obssess how much hair is falling out. I am so glad that you are feeling free and able to feel like you have to hide.

I am so happy to hear you are feeling free. Enjoy it and embrace it. Remember you are beautiful regardless what is going on or not going on, on your head. You will know when the time is right for you to shave, if that is something you want to do. For me I found it a liberating feeling when I shaved. No more focusing on the bald areas, no more cleaning up the hair on the floor and drains. I still dont go out without something on my head, but thats ok too. And Im thrilled that you found this site.
