Insecurity
Now in the middle of the year I'll move from town to start college to study psychology. I must admit I'm insecure about the new people I'll meet and their comments, mainly because of being away from the comfort of family and friends.
But I think it will be a good experience for my personal growth. I hope everything goes well.

My wife has studied psych and had the same fears they are valid and understandable but not insurmountable go and enjoy the challenge John

I couldnt agree more with what everyone mentioned above especially Tan B's comment. College life was the best for me but its not all smooth, despite being far from the comfort of family and friends back home, I can always find comfort in places "alopecia world" like this.
The upside being "bald due to some kind of illness"...it helps to differenciate who is or isnt genuine friends. Insecure people tend to pick on you evenmore with brainless comment. especially when baldness make us even more popular than those with a full head of hair...!
We'll be here always, to listen and to comment on whatever story or experience you share with us ok?...:)
