Hi Ms. Leaves ...

In my instance thru approx 8 or so sheds and regrowths .... the hair does grow back to its original pre alopecia effected state. Except for a small area near the base on my neck - upper back area.

The regrowth does start out a bit slow ... but it does return. Knock on wood .
Mind you , it returns to MAYBE shed again ... what a vicious circle ha ?

Mine did return recently started off slow but then all of a sudden i had loads of hair and only had 2 bits to fill in... but unfortunately mine has decided to fall out again.. i hope your's continues to grow , x

Yes, mine also regrew slowly at first without much pigment and then it seemed to grow more rapidly but that might have just been my perception...it also grew in darker than before. I kept it all for 4 years and then lost it all again. However you have to remember that most people who have aa regrow their hair and don't end up losing it all. I hope it continues for you!!

I am quite worried everyone who i have spoken to says it has fallen out again, I really want it to come back; I miss my hair so much. My boyfriend stayed last night and the amount of times i got up in the night to brush my hair was too many. I thought i was coping but know i feel like i did when it first happened.
