Just an Introduction
I've been looking at your profiles and all of the people on here are so inspiring...
Anyway, I have had alopecia after moving to Minneapolis 5 yrs ago - due to ex husband and his job changes - and we have an 8 yr old daugther, so I had to move with, even tho I did not want to. So my hair started falling out within a week of moving here. and it just stays that way.
I am 52 but a very young 52 - I have to say that one thing I like about this situation is the ability to change your look whenever - it's a lot of fun to try things you wouldn't have normally.. The downside is dating (I'm divorced) is like super hard- being that I don't do it due to my hair. The other downside is that when ppl stare at me, I kinda freak out - well maybe freak out is harsh - but I hate when ppl look at you a little strangley - maybe it has nothing to do with the wig! maybe my mascara is smeared or something!
Anyway, it's an inspiration to see all on this site - such beautiful ppl and so strong! Enuf for now.

Well thanks Susan for that! I have been using my daughter as my excuse to get out there - due to my own "neurosis" - but I know that you are right - and experienced enuf to back it up! Guess you're the one to go to for dating advice right?? lol Thanks Susan! you helped..

You are very beautiful, and if people stare at you, it is because they think you are beautiful too. Don't let hairloss get in the way of dating:)
