Losing my eyebrows was like losing my hair all over again. However, after a year I finally got use to the look and liked it. It actually made my eyes look bigger and brighter. Last year I drew them on when I wore a wig for work, but it took so much time. Getting them tattooed on was a huge step for me, but I have to say that I love them. The woman used hair like strokes and it looks good. It was a shocker at first, but I am glad I did it now. I will post a picture after the touch up apointment.
Yes, it was a permanent makeup artist. She uses different ink than regular tattoo shops. She drew the shape on first and worked with me to get something I liked. I will take some pictures once they heal up.
good for you! it is harder losing them than your hair since they are hard to replace and when I drew mine on they looked hilarious. I need to do mine again but my tatoos looked better than my natural eyebrows, great shape!
I am at that point as well, Rose. I would LOVE to see your pics. I go to a make-up artist who also has a wonderful wig salon. One stop hair "replacement"... ha ha. When I look through her portfolio I tend to like the feathering technique look, but anything will be an improvement on the "draw it on" syndrome in which I find myself. So I loved your post...gave me the final oomph to do this. Blessings.
