Just some ramblings about my sucky day

I have AA (more than 50% hairloss) and i am currently attending my victory lap at highschool. Last year i wrote a letter to my principal stating that i am allowed to wear my hat/hood inside of school and in class rooms when ever I feel uncomfortable and if im cold as i have no hair to insulate my self. The Principal said ofcourse and the Vice principal already said that it was no problem.

Now this year Everyone can wear a hat in school but not a hood. This school year I also have a Medical wig. Well I do not like to wear a hat with my wig. So i prefer hoods. So today at lunch I wore my Hood and no teacher asked me to take it off. Until I passed the hall moniter. She yelled at me for wearing a hood....but wait didnt my paper last year state that I am allowed to wear Hoods? i think it did.

This upsetted me all day. Probably because i felt like an outcast when she said i had to take it off. Because it was infront of alot of students and i pretty much had to explain right then and there that my wig does not help trap the heat.

Well thanks for reading i just wanted to talk... you dont have to respond to this I just felt like talking.

Make copies of that paper to quietly hand to aids and monitors, and ask the school board or principal to address it in a staff sensitivity training. Adults who end up as Hall Monitors don't have the brights to get better jobs at their age...so consider the source!
