Dealing with Alopecia as you know is no easy task. It effects absolutely everything. You eat, sleep, breath alopecia. it can really get you down. But my solution is to learn to love yourself again. Think of all the good things about yourself. All the nice things that your family and friends say about you and take comfort from that.

I am bit more fortunate then some . Being afro caribbean i have a small patch in my hair which i have disguised by having natural hair so my small thick afro can hide my patch. So when Chris Rock talks about Good hair in his documentatory which is an investigation into the obsession with straight hair I smile and Thank God for my little Afro for if i did have straight hair you would definately be able to see my patch.

Just learn to love yourself a little more everyday and make Alopecia your friend !
