This blog is only for those of you who have gotten past the shock, false meds and trials, mood swings and negativity. What do you all do to make up for this loss of hair to still present yourself well? What do you do before walking out the door for that interview, job, party, reunion, trip, etc.? Let's give the newbies our best POSITIVE tips. I will start:
Make-up, eyebrow powder, one of several wigs with bangs and two colors to look more real, jewelry, and smile all on me. Age-appropriate simple clothing (I am over sixty). Sunglasses for driving. Status: Retired, but having fun.

well . I wear Hijab so no problem for me with the hair , maybelline eyeliner gel  ( really dark it hides absence of lashes) , brow tattoo ( I add brow definer to make it look heavier alittle more ) , only uses eyelashes in parties or weddings because I am not so clever in fixing them , light lip shine ,, self confidence as I am a very normal person ,, thats all

Super fit body from yoga and working out and being vegan; long, blonde full-lace bonded system; red lips and well-done makeup; take good care of skin; dress well in skirts and heel. Smile and have a charming personality. Be kind and interesting. Have confidence!

Hi Tallgirl, like you definitely some makeup but as I'm older not too much as I got to think of my wrinkles, so a little foundation and blush, pencil or eyebrow powder on top of my faded tattooed eyebrows and some liner on my eyes and eyeshadow, a bit of lipstick and I'm good to go. Takes me 5 minutes. I've never attempted to attach lashes although I have some in the cupboard that I may try one day. I'm not really a girly girl so it's pretty minimal makeup but I think as we get older we need a little help with colour or we look washed out. Definitely go nowhere without sunglasses and wig. I'm not into going bald. Also retired (well nearly)...

ive tried wigs but just don't like the way the feel and I also don't feel like myself. I have only been without scalp hair since April. I also lost my brows and lashes since then. I draw in my brows and use liner for my eyes. I tried false lashes but just can't see well enough without glasses to apply them so I gave up. My family and friends have all been very supportive. I like messing around with makeup so I try different things. I live in S. Arizona so hats are needed to keep from getting too much sun but I don't wear then all the time.

Just before a holiday or school year start, I also watch tutorials on YouTube for applying make-up, creating eyebrows, etc. That leads me to some creative practice and a trip to buy new things!
