Oral minoxidil is a drug used to treat hypertension.

Hypertensive patients on it reported that their pilosity has increased while taking it so its used to treat male patern baldness was investigate and the TOPICAL minoxidil got the approval for it. HOWEVER, the risk vs benefice ratio DO NOT SUPPORT its used orally to treat alopecia..... I can't belive a md would actually prescribed this product orally to a non-hypertensive patient.....

minoxidil/rogaine.
What ever you wish to call it.
Not orally nor topical, give any positive results.
The only one benefiting is"you know who"
We all know it's to prevent hair loss..not regrow hair.
Besides...who know's.....that in the long run fails.
I gave 10 boxes of "MINOXIDIL" the my brother.
He used every bottle up, in hopes.
Then he bought more...like many of us.
Do you think he has hair today?
There is a saying....and there are many expressions.
Yet the one which stands out...is "GET A LIFE"
Start living, throw in the towel and accept the beautiful you............as you are!
If it grows back on it's own...then you may have another thing to celebrate.
In the mean time....Live Life and Love Yourself!
PS: My Brothers Name is Paul too....and I wish he'd stop wearing a baseball cap.
