Hello everyone, am 17 and from the caribbean.I live in St.Lucia and am starting A level schooling in two weeks. I've had alopecia for a few years now,it always comes and goes and this time I had some spots. Only one is left but not many people here have alopecia or even know what it is and am scared that as am going to a new and bigger school people who see me for the first time and aren't my friends might laugh at me or make me uncomfortable. i used to go to an all male school and after sometime people stopped troubling me and out of 700 students only me and another boy had it. Though my current spot is smaller and may grow back, am really terrified about meeting thousands of new faces who many think badly of me or make a full out of me. Any encouragement guys? I want to buy a hat for school but it would look really weird being the only one there with it.
