After exhausting all of my options and losing 95% of my hair I find myself here for the first time to get somebody answers. Any input would be great.

After 8 months on prednisone and seeing my entire body change BUT also seeing hair growth I slowly stopped. After just one week I lost huge amounts of hair that have yet to grow back and this marks a year with almost no hair.

First question- how to deal with wigs!!! I bought a very nice synthetic wig almost a year ago but I find it so uncomfortable in the summer heat or just to wear it for long periods. It looks real, as I've heard from friends but I always think people can tell and I want to tare it off after an hour.
* has anyone had better experiences with real hair wigs? They're so expensive but at this point it might be worth it.

*any suggestions for a place to buy one in the NYC area? Preferably Brooklyn?


Also, I've just started taking Xeljamz in place of the steroids. Is anyone one doing the same? Are there any success stories out there with this drug?
