My mom has been thinking about getting my eyebrows tattoed. The fact is I am only 11 and a half and not quite ready for that. So my mom and I found a product called NuBrow that sounds interesting. Before my mom purchases it I would like to know if anyone know about it and has tried it. I am also interested in what young girls who have used false eyelashes have to say. I am looking foward hearing from all my Alopecians! - Nicky :)

HI Nicky....I have never heard of NuBrow, but I have used false eyelashes. Its a bit tricky at first but you will soon get the hang of it. As a 11 1/2 yrs old I cant honestly say what is a good solution, as Im 35. But one thing for sure is that if you chose to use false eyelashes got for a natural look, being short lashes and not too full. I believe most products call it a "demi" As for tattoo brows, well lets just say......, I just got mine done last year and I love them. I was previously drawing them in for years which was perfectly good. For you I would prolly wait a few more years as its not a picnic to get them done. And its best to talk to others as far as which salon or tattoo shop to go to. You want to make sure the artist takes their time in the stenciling in before the actually work is done. Make sure you approve of the stencil before it is done. I have seen alot of poor jobs done. And remember a tatt is with you forever. In my opinion tho ( and remember its just my opinion) I would draw your eyebrows, if fun to change the look sometimes of your eyebrows. the arch..etc. I hope this helps and take care.

Terri what state did you get your brows done in? Nicky shewwww I still have a hard time getting fake eyelashes on stright. But I have never been one to take my time & primp to get ready. I would say wait as well. Your just so young. Who knows they could grow back tomorow.

I would just use a brown, soft eyeliner pencil to add the sense of outline, and stencils for eyebrows. Your face will grow and the expressions you desire (as created by eyebrows) will change over the years, so temporary is okay and safer for now!
