Oily head??

Can anyone help , the last couple of weeks my head has been really oily under my wig , is strange!

My head has been really oily as always. I once read something from somewhere, that excessive oil production is common in patient with alopecia areata due to some structural abnormalities of the skin. I have to look more into that...eventhough I prefer to be less oily but at least my skin isnt dry and flaky.

ok thanks, mine has just started to be oily after 10 years with alopecia totalis i thought this was odd, thanks heaps for your post!
