Does anyone have experience with wigsbuy.com? I have researched hundreds of sites looking for an affordable human hair wig and I am so confused as to which one is right for me.

Sweetie I think it is really just trial and error. I bought one for my daughter and hair texture is good but the color made her look like a coctail waitress in a Dolly Parton wig. So I went and bought hair extentions and toned down the color and it is much better now. The only advise I can give is to be picky and the more blonde it is for some reason it looks really fake.

I've had alopecia since 13 also. For the money, I like Gemtress wigs. I ordered one from loriwigsite. For the quality and price, it's been the best for me. It has dermafix inside to help it stay on. It was about 1400. It is European hair. To me , it's more affordable for the quality of most. If you would like to see pictures, let me know. It looks better than the one on my profile picture.

I have never heard of Gemtress but I am going to check them out for my daughter to have a second piece, because we just ordered our first Freedom piece and we will need a spare.

You can see them on YouTube. I got it from someone else's on the site that had a gripper before. They were ordering their second one. The one I got was called Firenze and the one she ordered was Venice.

Tracy M, can I ask how long you have had your Gemtress Firenze wig, and how is it holding up for you? I carry Gemtress but until recently only needed men's pieces. I have just ordered a sample order to check the quality, to tell the truth I am not too impressed with their photos in the catalog, hopefully the product itself is better.

I have had it several months. I have washed it about 3 times. I have talked to several people that have ordered them. You are right, the pictures don't do it justice. That is why it took me so long to order one. When I get on my desk computer, I will post a picture for you.

Went on the wigsbuy site. All I really see there is pictures of movie stars and hollywood people, with names of wigs, supposedly to look like the hair these women are sporting, but I am sure when you get the wig pictured, it surely wouldn't be recognizeable, because you don't have their face!! Tread carefully! I would be inclined to lean toward the Gemtress also. Or Iwig

WOW! I also looked at the wigsbuy site and as a vendor I would be very leary of this one. Some of the pictures I saw posted the person obviously was not wearing a wig, and the smaller photos are just stock lace wig pictures we can all use. At the prices posted if the wig was anything like the picture it would cost more than what they are asking for wholesale, i doubt they are in the philanthropy business. This is obviously a site that has little integrity and has 22 fraud reports on one scam buster site. I can imagine how many more are out there...check this out:
