I have read that fasting can trigger a reset of immune function, anyone here try this? Would love to hear about anyone who has tried this and results. I have started today only having 200 calories a day and water, I will report back on results but this might obviously take some time! I am going for a 3 day fast.

I wouldn't recommend doing so. Back on April 2016, I went through a break up and found alot of relief in working out. I was working out about 5 times a week and didn't feel hungry most of the time. Now looking back at my fitbit food log, I noticed I was eating about 800 calories a day plus the calories I was burning. 2 months later I noticed the hair loss and before I knew it I was in the Doctor's office almost every week (between my primary and dermatologist) finding ways on how to get better. My alopecia got worse and I got back on track to eating properly. Anyway the point is both the derm and primary Doc said that a combination of stress and poor eating triggered my AA.

Hows your AA going for you?

Well I'm sorry to hear that happened to you, I only did a three day fast but was eating 200 calories a day and since then things I have noticed so far is that my beard has begun to have colour in it again and my eyebrow stopped shedding, patches on my head seem the same with no noticeable loss or re growth.
