I deactivated my Facebook account. Not forever just until I’m in a good place mentally. I was spending too much time looking at my forehead in pictures trying to gauge when my hairline first began receding. I also found myself looking at everyone else’s hair and forehead thinking she has beautiful hair and a perfect hairline. Facebook was hurting me. I could feel myself slipping into a deeper depression. I look forward to one of these two things in the future: the feeling of relief because I have a full head of my own hair or the feeling of acceptance of a smooth bald head.
Hi Adie, I notice other people's hair and thickness, etc. I also obsess about it. How can we not obsess though? Especially if we see the constant shedding? I lose 100s a day and yet I have people tell me not to think about it. Most of these individuals have heads full of hair. They don't have a clue.
Do what's best for you! If deactivating your FB account helps...go for it. We are the ones losing hair so only we know how depressing it can be. I hope you are able to find acceptance soon. Hang in there and keep posting here...it helps.
Hi there, I just joined site today, trying to get familiar with it. Not much skill in the tech world- don't even use facebook,, LOL! I just want to say I totally get your obsession! I look at everyone's hair, EVEN ON TV, UGH!!! trying to determine if it could be a really good wig! I was diagnosed with Lichen planipularis, causing scarring alopecia in June 2017(but burning symptom starting in May 2016, slow process, with originally wrong diagnosis- thought it was allergic response). Resulting in horrible large bald spots on top and Lt side and new sore, burning, itchy, pink, indented spots of hairloss along part(top). So hard and uncomfortable to cover with a hair clip because remaining hair is so thin, not much to grab on. I GET IT! I DON'T KNOW WHAT'S WORSE THE EMOTIONAL PART OF THIS DISEASE OR ITS SYMPTOMS!!
I hope we, and others can chat and find some miracle treatment or cure!
Indeed, many times social media is the place where you waste your time, and only after you do it you realize that you had so much work to do, but you forgot because you started looking at social media. I had so many moments. What is important is that you have to know the limit, to know when you have to stop. In addition, you do not have to delete any site because there are many advantages. For example, I make money on Instagram. At first, I looked for how to buy Instagram likes and this was the first step. After a while, I got to the "explore page" and became popular by making money. So social media is good in case you know how to use it correctly and how not to waste your time.
Hey, you don't have to feel this way! You know, there was a time I was so complexed about my nose. Ugh, it was devastating. It was my biggest fear to look in the mirror next to a beautiful human being. One of my good friends showed me how can I escape that problem. There was an Instagram account called “the teeth”. It was about different people with not the most beautiful teeth. Inspired, I’ve created my own, called “The nose”. After a little help from pay per click marketing san diego, the best social media marketing company I’ve seen so far, you have no idea how many people thanked me for that page. Everyone is beautiful, keep it in mind.
Unfortunately, many people become addicted to social networks and society's opinions of them. First, this is a sign that you are not confident in yourself. People on the Internet are often fake. Now there are so many ways to fix your nose, hair color, and face shape in Photoshop that sometimes you doubt whether the person in the photo is real. Once I also bought likes on 1394TA. However, over time I realized that it was more important for me to share my creativity and thoughts than to attract attention to myself. I think you should contact a psychologist about this problem.
