So I see there have been a few changes in how chat works and such, still getting used to it. There seems to be a few bugs but I have faith they will be worked out in no time flat.
It got me to thinking.
With every site there are things I like and things I don't.
However, when I find a site that I LOVE, such as AW, it is worth the very minor 'growing pains' I may have to deal with from time to time
If however, I belonged to another site, one that I found that I no longer fundamentally agreed with, well I would simply remove my profile and move on. Simple really when you think about it.
And that is why I cannot wrap my head around why anyone who is obliviously seriously upset with ANY site remains on it - and endlessly criticizes it. Sure we may try at first to use our criticisms as a way to try to enact a change - but surely when in ones own mind the negatives are outweighing the positives - it must be time to move on - or at the very least keep ones negativity to themselves
Perhaps I am not thinking clearly on this and thus my plea 'someone, anyone, please help me understand.'
Robb, you sure know how to scare people.... is that the Lost 4th Ghost from Dickens' Christmas Carol (the Ghost of Wigs Gone Wrong)? - or is it some other Spector? (hee, hee!) :)
LilyBell, maybe some folk are stuck on a "level" (see my new Discussion with Abraham Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs pyramid attachment, in Acceptance and Coping), and want to scream and cry in it awhile. We have all been there...or are now...because we can't clearly see how to move up. This site seems like a place many feel free to moan, until called on it or stopped with technology. Even then, many find it hard to believe that things will EVER get better, or think that this is someone's FAULT rather than admit it may just be the luck of the genes. Not knowing whom to blame or at whom to scream, sometimes alopecians just turn on other alopecians when upset.
Maybe I will just go nuts all by myself! Ha ha. Pass the toasted almonds.
