Where acceptance is all there is!
So I see there have been a few changes in how chat works and such, still getting used to it. There seems to be a few bugs but I have faith they will be worked out in no time flat.
It got me to thinking.
With every site there are things I like and things I don't.
However, when I find a site that I LOVE, such as AW, it is worth the very minor 'growing pains' I may have to deal with from time to time
If however, I belonged to another site, one that I found that I no longer fundamentally agreed with, well I would simply remove my profile and move on. Simple really when you think about it.
And that is why I cannot wrap my head around why anyone who is obliviously seriously upset with ANY site remains on it - and endlessly criticizes it. Sure we may try at first to use our criticisms as a way to try to enact a change - but surely when in ones own mind the negatives are outweighing the positives - it must be time to move on - or at the very least keep ones negativity to themselves
Perhaps I am not thinking clearly on this and thus my plea 'someone, anyone, please help me understand.'

LilyBell,
I'm happy to hear that you so LOVE Alopecia World that you think "it is worth the very minor 'growing pains' [you] have to deal with from time to time." :-)
Believe it or not, I feel exactly the same way about AW! LOL
It has also been my practice to simply move on when I became displeased with the overall content, design, or management of other websites. Besides, I recognize that most websites are private property although the public may have the privilege of accessing and even contributing to them. I guess it's just the libertarian in me to live and let live. ;-)
At the same time, I truly believe that website owners should be open to constructive criticism and responsive to the reasonable requests of the people who take the time visit and join their websites. This is why anyone displeased with anything they find or experience on AlopeciaWorld.com is encouraged to go to the following page and report the issue:

Our diligent team tries to respond to all these reports in a timely and responsible manner, but it must be understood that we cannot share personal or confidential information about any member with another member for ethical and legal reasons.
Thanks again for loving AW, LilyBell.
Wishing you great joy and good success,
