Hey Jacquie,

I always get excited to read or learn anything about stem cells as I believe the hold so much promise!!!
Having said that- am curious to know what info you may have about stemteck. Are you taking it?

The theory behind it sounds viable but at this point I have not read anything about it that would make me
personally comfortable trying it.

My understanding it that basically the supplement Stemteck is supposed to stimulate stem cells and increase the number of stem cells into our body from our bone marrow. The makers then claim by doing that those
released stem cells will automatically go where needed and replace dysfunctional cells. In turn this-
will restore health. I do recall they have done some animal studies with some good results.

However - I do not believe there are currently any scientific studies which actually show it improves health. There is also no studies that can tell you if long term use can cause any abnormal tissue/cell growth. And
another problem- one of the active ingredients in it blue-green algae- and more recent research on other products that contain that algae show is may contain dangerous toxins.

I don't know much of the details - sure it is online somewhere - but in the early 2000's a law suit in California from people taking this product ( or something like it) against the company regarding false advertising took place. And the company was found guilty. I don't know where any of that stands or what changes the company may have taken to "right" itself -

Love to hear your opinion on it!

I have never taken Stemtech but I recieved and email from my sisters old school time friend that had some testimonials from people with alopecia. They all claim that their hair has grown back since taking it. I am seriously thinking of trying it, with an open mind of course. I don't tend to get to get my hopes up on quick fixes.
