Hello Alopecia World!

I'm finally back online after a long hiatus. My life got very hectic, very quickly. Starting this past January, I picked up a second job at the school paper doing layout and design. At the same time, I embarked on a 10-week adventure with Lightsaber Club which resulted in a lovely 12-page article for my Intro to Reporting class. It was so much fun and so crazy how passionate the club members were about lightsaber dueling! Going into spring quarter at the end of March, I did an even crazier thing and signed up for one too many classes, while working my two jobs...eek, not a good idea. But I came out of it alive and on the Dean's Honors List again :)

Now it's the summer in Southern California and it is hot, hot, hot. I'm loving my wig right now though and not having to deal with tape anymore. I remember last summer was just dreadful, it felt like the wig was just melting into my scalp!

I'm spending this summer still at my current job in marketing/publicity and hoping to pick up another job as an advertising intern soon. I had an interview last week so we'll see how it goes! (But I'm definitely quitting the school paper though for many reasons!)
