Hello again, I have been weaaring hats to school since I was in first grade and now I am in sixth grade. Anyway yesterday I had an hat on and this boy who is in the same grade as me walks up to me and says "No hats in school." Then I just looked at him for a few seconds and then said "Do you really want to go ther?" This just shows how used to my alopecia people at my school are like a few months ago my friend had her hair done really cute and she said to me "I can do it to your hair tomorrow if you want." then paused then said "Oh wait." See people do get used to you having alopecia. It just becomes a normall everyday thing that is not out of the ordinary. It can only get better from here on out you know it could be worse, I could have cancer. That is what I tell myself when I feel bad about my alopecia that and "God only made so many perfect heads the rest he covers with hair."
Jessica you are awesome! A lot of wisdom for such a young person. I am inspired by you:)
You are awesome and a lot stronger than many adults I know :) what an inspiration.
Thank you but I couldn't have done it without my friends, family, and alopecia world!!!
Very inspiring, Jessica! If we were in the same school (and i was young enough to go there, haha!), I'd hang out with you. ;-)
And, yes. YAY! to supportive friends, family and the AW family, as well. :-)
