well as i have read some recent post and a lot of us our feeling a little down about our situation well here is what i do to keep myself positive, i do the things i love to do, like playing drums(really good therapy), going to concerts, listening to music, going out of town, hanging with friends, well i do a lot but i take everyday day by day, i'll worry about tomorrow when tomorrow gets here, believe me doing what you love will make you forget about that bad day or week that you had, i find myself more often than not forgetting that i have alopecia but it's because i try to do what i love every day of my life and it really helps.

so my advice to all of you: do what you love to do and try to do it everyday

You said it, Paul! Every time I go dancing, or hiking or do anything else that I love, I just feel happy that I'm able to do these things - having no hair is the least of it.

I definitely agree with you, Paul! When my hair first started falling out, I got myself into a rut thinking the things I've always loved doing would never be same to me once my hair is gone. I thought that all the things I've always loved doing (such as concerts, traveling, shopping, playing the piano, etc..) were only good if they were done by people with hair. Then the time came when I decided to prove myself wrong, and I went out and did everything I thought I'd never be able to enjoy again. I had a great time! And my hair was the last thing on my mind.
So I agree completely that we should do what we love doing and do it as often as possible. Great advice!
